These terms of sale apply to all purchases made through the méiyǒu website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

About us

méiyǒu is a trading name operated by Ip Lai Han in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Placing an order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase our products. We will send you an email confirming receipt of your order, but this does not constitute acceptance. Your order is accepted when we dispatch the products and send you a dispatch confirmation email.

Prices and payment

All prices on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 business days. Standard UK delivery takes 3-5 business days from dispatch. For full delivery information, please see our Shipping & Returns page.

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. To cancel, please contact us at pantry [at] meiyou.co.uk.

Please note that food products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless they are faulty or damaged.

Faulty or damaged goods

If your product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

Allergies and dietary information

Our products may contain allergens. Please check product descriptions carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions about ingredients, please contact us before ordering.

Limitation of liability

Our liability to you is limited to the purchase price of the products. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be resolved in the English courts.
